Program Curriculum:

Content Model of teaching Duration
Group Supervision # 12 times, 3 hourly, group consultation provided by Professor Daniel Wong and experienced CBT practitioners

From Oct, 2024 to Sept, 2025

12 months (36 hours)

On the 3rd Wednesday of each month
Individual Supervision # 25 hours individual supervision provided by experienced CBT practitioners

From Feb, 2025 to Sep, 2025

8 months (25 hours)
Specialized Workshop * Workshops run by local or overseas CBT experts At most 2 times a year

#Participants are encouraged to have their own counselling cases at their agencies or work places.

Course Details:

Target Participants: Nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, teachers, counselors, social workers, psychiatrist, physiotherapist and other helping professions
Admission Quota: 12
Entry Requirements:
  1. A bachelor degree, and
  2. The “Certificate in Fundamental Training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (Level 1)” offered by Institute of Cognitive Therapy (ICT) or Centre for Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CCBT); or an equivalent qualification from comparable institutions.
  3. Interview and/or qualifying examination to test the applicants’ abilities to follow the prescribed program may be conducted.
Application Procedures:
  1. Complete the application form and provide all relevant supporting documents by email or post. General supporting documents include awards/certificates of qualification 1 and 2 stipulated in the Entry Requirements of this pamphlet. Please note that documents once submitted will not be returned, and will be destroyed if the application is unsuccessful.
  2. The closing day of application is 8 Sep, 2024.
Course Fee:

HKD 22,450 (To be paid upon acceptance)

(HKD 21,450 for those registered before 10 August, 2024)

How to become a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Practitioner?
Completion of Certificate in Clinical Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Level I and Level II training will entitle the participant to apply for certification as a “Cognitive Behavioral Practitioner” from ICT. For more information, please refer to our website.
